Got carried away!

Beginning of Dec 2013 i decided to do a simple oil and filter change, but i got a little carried away. Hope you can tell the difference between the before and after photos!!

All new Stainless steel hose clamps, Bolts, nuts & washers.

well i have 8mm magnecor leads which are BLUE high performance ones, not gonna spend over £100 for a set of red ones (if they do them) and am not gonna paint the rocker covers BLUE!! They match the red bracketry anywhay.

Better than having aload of modern BLUE hoses everywhere, even if they would match my BLUE ignition leads.

Just bought an original TVR sales brochure for the S series and it shows the brake calipers being gold colour out of the factory. So, i will be changing the silver to gold. they will match my blinged up gold coil!

Great job, well done.

There's no need to spend a lot of money on painting the callipers gold. Hammerite works very well.

well i was thinking of using gold leaf!! but i have an open tin of gold hammerite, so the yorkshiremen that i am dictates that i use every last bit of paint i already possess!!

The big problem now is, when ive been out for a run, lift the bonnet, i now notice the road dirt that gets sprayed up over my lovely clean white chassis and polished engine bay!!! I was happily oblivious to all that in the before condition!! Got to keep it bl**dy clean under the bonnet as i do the exterior now!! Good job shes's worth it!

Wish i had the money for a new aluminium radiator & a stainless steel fuel tank. Ah well, better get round to selling my other cars. Triumph GT6 2.5PI convertible and the most outrageous smart car you've ever seen!!

I don't think it uses air anymore, only fumes from the hammerite when braking!

I can't believe no-one has yet bought the GT6 thingy!

Ahhh....mk1fan, photo taken before i had reinstalled the air ducting. i was going to cut it down and locate the air filter in board of the engine bay and run cold air feed pipes from the front to it (utilising the air ducts present for the cold air feed into the car, which i have removed) But i decided to keep it original for now. i still may relocate the air filter, but will not alter original pipework, will make something up to suit instead.
