It's been cancelled - by the looks of it forever

That's a shame, only been once myself (last year), and while it gas a bit "gappy" and spread out (2 or 3 day event with a lot of clubs only doing one day I guess), it was still a decent day out.

Shame, I must admit I enjoyed the show, the scene of my first SCH. Mind you I suspect the kit car world isn't such a good scene at the moment?

I am absolutely gutted about this news.

I was keen on the idea of piggy-backing SCH onto this Event, & had been in touch with Kevin & Lesley re allocation of a TVR display area at the show.

The dates they had hoped to get were 21/22nd June 2014, but they were still waiting for confirmation from Newark Showground.
The actual dates they have been allocated clash once again with Le Man's, and as most attendees of the Show are car nuts like us, it means a significant loss of revenue at the gate.
It was one of my favourite events & I will miss the craic a lot.

Even Tinks had fun


Just as well Alayne plumped for Blenheim as this year's SCH venue.
I noticed it's near Woodstock, so millions should come.

Alayne did a fantastic job at Thorsby for the last 2 years of SCH and chim fest. Blenheim is a fantastic venue, l too congratulate Alayne for all her hard work :-)

I know we spoke about this at Thoresby last year Glen. Well done for being prepared to take it on Shame it came to nothing but it's good news Blenheim is in the calendar.

Yes gutted when I saw Jays post.
Was our first TVR event after buying it and meet Tinks.
Who showed me around and Introduced me to a few peps.

Last years wasn't no where near like the first one I went to, shame.
I really liked the set up there.

Yes been FB messaging with Tinks over the past few weeks.
Think with the uncertainty about his job he's keeping his head down.
But I have tried to persuade him on the Euro trip which he's thinking about.

Does that mean you're both coming to Barn Farm w/end ?

You don't have to bring the V8S, just yourselves.
We miss you both mate.
I reckon you deserve a bit of a break, all this work & no play is no good.
