Track day tyres on a GTV

I have just had 4 Federal 595 RS-R road legal 'track day' tyres fitted to my GTV V6.
I've only heard good reviews on these tyres and decided to give them a go as only £85 each fitted.
Initial thoughts on the drive home on damp roads were they are more than capable in those conditions, heavy rain/standing water I think would definitely be an issue.
Can't wait for some dry days to truly give them a good test on a front heavy car.
