Tubeless puncture repair

hello all,

i have a WTB TCS on my bike, 650b if it matters, on a ride out today i got a puncture, i managed to limp it home be pumping it up every 2 miles or so.

but looking to repair it now rather than running a tube in there, whats the best way to do this, i guess ill need to replace the sealant too, any links tips or pointers much appreciated.

I've never needed to use it (a mate's used his though) but I've got a kit a bit like this from the LBS

If you have sealant in the tyre it should have stayed up. What sealant were you using?

When I first started running tubeless around 6 years back I didn't use sealant and used a kit to repair the tyre, a real PITA. I used Stans after that and have never had a problem.

What caused the puncture? If it is a small hole, thorn, nail etc. Try reinflating with sealant in the tyre.

Also, for future reference, it's worth topping up or changing the sealant at least once a year, it does go off and I often find a small ball of hardened sealant rolling around inside the tyre. I use Stan's.

It's a 2014 bike, iv had it 3 months so the sealant shouldn't be hard, also iv not put sealant in but the wtb kit has sealant so it should be ok, going to whip the wheel off and have a look at the puncture tonight.

Are you sure it's running tubeless? Might just be tubeless tyres fitted with a tube??
