Retaining pins ... AP 4 pots ..

Can someone just confirm to me that the 2 retaining/guide pins on the AP 4 pots are just tapped into place, as the sprung collar suggests and removal is the reverse.
I have coppered slipped them for the pads to slide on and seem happy with the whole set up (off car at moment as it is still at bodyshop
) just wanted to make absolutely sure...
