Always used to use CRC exclusively (they had an almost daily voucher code) but now thats dried up i find im using Ribble more and more because they are often cheaper - and the service is just as good.

I've avoided CRC since the trouble with people's card details being hacked and the site's attitude towards the issue. I'm a fan of Wiggle and use Ribble, Evans and others on occasion.

I used to use Wiggle almost exclusively, but in recent years their pricing and stock has taken a turn for the worst, even simple things like chains and cassettes.

That's where the likes of Merlin, Ribble, rose bikes.de etc come in! For clothing and stuff like that, I find Wiggle are amongst the best. Their customer service is very good too.

Charlie the Bike Monger is also very good, especially anything single speed

Another not mentioned yet are Parker International.

I've found them to be very good for service parts in the past. Not used them for a while now though.

I remember the days before wiggle, bikes at butler and I've seen them develop over the years now they appear to be more orientated towards triathlon disciplines. And I never find anything I want on there site. But you do get free haribo with orders.

The shop I'm liking at the moment is cycle surgery. Their pricing seems to be competitive good selection of stock and normally have a good deal on plus I get discount there

Merlin, Ribble, PBK or Chain Reaction for me. Used to use Wiggle a lot but they don't seem competitive at the minute for road bike bits.

CRC, Wiggle, Evans, UK Bike Store and Wheelies recently - I normally Google the item to see who has it cheapest. CRC are the first place I tend to look though.

What happens when the items arrive in the UK? Do customs hold them? Do you get any additional charges added?

It comes straight to your door usually, I've never had anything more to pay yet.

I mainly use wiggle. One click ordering and easy returns if stuff doesn't fit. I've also used crc for some bits and recently a random shop in ireland as they were cheapest for my sram force brakes.

I occasionally buy stuff from my local cycles UK and cycle surgery, but not much.
