This will offend some people for that i will not apologise. I am in the motor trade and have run my business from Brighton for the last 25 years plus Here,s what your up against. A few years ago, one woman complained regarding walking in a road as she was partially sighted, (i know the woman personally ands thats debatable) the Council decided to have a local debate, with 40 local businesses to see how it would affect them if the said road where to be made pedestrianised, 38 objected ,local residents signed a petition against it. 6 weeks later we got pedestrianised..... the council told me WE MUST BE SEEN TO BE HELPING THE MINORITY a fu..ing joke.
Don,t even go there on the parking. My garage was given the option of ether 2 non transferable permits (i normally work on 6 cars a day) a year or ....use the BUS. Wifey worked for Brighton/Hove council for 6 months,could not take the corrupt way things where done.If they want it banned they WILL ban it, (unless your gay or a minority then in which case your get a grant for it) but this is all my own opinion and not fact
One solution i believe, would be to 1/8 mile (and allow sprc members to run he he he )
