OK - real thick question here!!

Why do I not see anything in Ed's post - what's the significance of putting "ebay" round the number? Is this supposed to make some sort of link visible to me???

Your "pop-up" blocker is probably stopping the link connecting.

I've asked the seller for some info, but they have no history for it at all.
Bit of a risk, but if the price is right I may bid on it.

Yes - I thought it odd. Good ole pop up blockers I say. Far rather they did their job and gave me a few moments of inconvenience once in a while

The mininum requirement would be taking the rocker cover off and have a look at the cams/follows ect, at over £500 it`s to risky IMHO it may well need a rebuild?

Full Red Rose rebuild from TVR Power = £3.5k. So, if it sets you back £1k, then I'm guessing that £4.5k is still cheaper than buying a new created block (if you can ever get one/want one)

Other option is to start a business up... get it rebuild as new, then start charging a £500 premium over factory/Power rebuild costs to have a "next day" replacement when the followers/whatever let go. Admittedly, you could only do one at once, but I'm sure there are people out there that'd pay £500 to save on 2-3 months of not having their car...
