Moving trees with a helicopter

So having just seen this video i promise it's real, it seems that it's the thing to do in oregon, am i alone in thinking this man will die soon?
There's no way that's in the limits of operation for that helicopter surely? the torque demand and then release when he's swinging the trees must be massive.

ive seen heli-logging in the flesh before, i've even been in the helicopter whilst they did it, but it was nothing like as violent as in the video.Looks bonkers but has been done before. Very efficient way to do it.

These operations are fairly widespread, particularly in the mountains where construction materials need to be moved around. But there are risks, and it's vital that the line doesn't snag on anything - especially the tail rotor.
There's a video on You Tube of a Squirrel locating a Christmas tree in NZ where the line was tensioned and took out a main rotor - very nasty (but pilot ok)

I've read a crash report somewhere, i think it was helicopter life magazine, about a guy using a R22 (little twin seater) to lift a tree from his neighbors house, long story short, rope snaps, all the torque stored up is released and the helicopter goes into a spin, you are so close to the ground you crash before you can catch it.

Flying in very much the same fashion as the tree harvesters.
Pouring concrete for ski lift pylons with alternate buckets from the mixer - delivering one every 30 sec or so returning for the next as fast as the truck could fill it!
