Paul Walker / Roger Rodas Tribute run
Discussion
Evening All,
Following the tributes shown across various forums, came up with the idea of a huge tribute meet/run in memory of Paul / Roger.
Some will think its stupid, pointless and why bother as you didn't personally know him...if so, easier for you just not to comment.
From reading the forums it is quite clear he inspired a fair few into being the petrolheads they presently are and alot of people find it easy to relate to him because of it. He also stared in some films which i personally really enjoy so it would also be a thanks for that.
Just trying to guage interest at the moment. Few of the guys from the clio RS forum would def be up for it so perhaps if we got people from here plus all other specific car club we could get quite a decent number together.
As a suggestion, perhaps meeting somewhere like Battersea powerstation (as some of fast 6 was filmed around there) to start then all convoy to another location - getting pics along the way and a photoshoot at each destination.
Would also be quite nice to raise something for his charity too?
Comments / ideas welcome.
Steve.

Hi sounds like a great place to start, there's a huge meet on the 28 th of December that is being attended by many car groups that is being arranged on Facebook and the location has not been determined yet. This is all types of cars which it should be. So a good place to end your journey.

Afraid it'll just be a huge boy racer turnout at that santa pod event..
I fear the same, which is a shame in a way. But on the flip side, we all have different tastes and budgets, the one thing in common is we all like cars. If enough PH people go, it should water down the Corsas.V1DL3R said:

That's what I'm hoping. I've managed to get access to the Show area parking, so it means I won't have to park in a muddy field
Should be fun watching the drag racing and drifting at least, I'm expecting to see some seriously powerful metal.

See you there then! How have you managed that? Would be keen not to park mine in the dirt :-(
