Well, not really, what with her being dead and stuff, but she was born 90 years ago today. I'm not an unqualified fan of all her work, but her recording of Tosca with Guiseppe di Stefano and Tito Gobbi is still a total knockout.
She isn't dead she had a few issues and stuff but seems settled now. In any case nothing can ever take away the fact she had one of the greatest xmas songs ever.
