Sonic Youth - suggest albums I should get please

A friend in Eastern Europe has a daughter who apparently is into Sonic Youth but can't afford anything more than the odd download. I want to send her some CD's for Xmas. I know nothing of this band so could someone with knowledge point me to 3 or 4 absolute must have CD's to begin her collection? Thank you in advance for any advice and suggestions.

Goo,sister and dirty are my faves. They have a greatest hits album called hits are for squares.

Loved them back in the day.

I'd agree with this. Dirty being absolutely essential listening. Of the later stuff Sonic Nurse is probably the most accessible. They did have a tendency to get a little indulgent at times.
