Hi everyone, my first posting. I have read all your comments over the last 6 months with interest and very much concurr that the 3200 is a superb car with very little problems.
I have now covered 34k, total on clock 40k and one of the rear boxes has blown. Marranello were quoting £1070 for two standard exhausts, Scuderia £1390 for a Tubi and Quicksilver £650 for two new stainless rear boxes unfitted.
I have seen all the rave reports about the tubi but I think it will be too loud for me ( could you do a 3000 miles tour round Europe without blowing your eardrums?)or are there other tubis for a lower price. anyone tried quicksilver?

Having been in Nicks tubied car I didn't find the noice particularly wearing. Nick (v12v8) will no doubt be along shortly with far more useful input than that little nugget!

40k - some serious driving done there sir

Bobbo, the Tubi is fine to live with. The car is fairly well sound insulated so although you do notice an increase, it is not intrusive to the same extent as in other cars.

I would recommend it. Hell, you only live once!

PS. Will we see you on the 21st of November?

Thanks for the info, I should try to make it on the 21st at Hever as I am a Kentish man and its just down the road.

I will hope the gungum holds till I can listen to a tubi.

Had more info from quicksilver on the stainless boxes, faster airflow, 25 year guarantee etc. They say they have supplied many dozens to dealers and direct, someone must have one.
