The Airbag warning light on my Son's Punto has recently come on. Is this likely to be something that can be reset? I ask because my Audi recently did the same when the passenger seat was moved 'abruptly' and Audi garage simply plugged in and reset it - said it was fine.

The Punto's just failed it's MOT on a few issues but this was one of them, if it can be reset is there a downloadable software or is it a Fiat dealer job?

TIA.

If its the one associated with the Passenger seat, I had similar issue with my Alfa GT just after i got it. There is a connecting wire under the passenger seat with a push fit connector that can sometimes just come apart, should just push back together. Heard of a similar issue with Renault. I Took it back to garage as was under warranty so did not go rummaging to find it. Better to get it checked out fully if can find, as would not what it going off unpredictably.

Thanks for the reply, took it back to the garage and they reset it so no major problem. Needed a new catalytic converter to pass the emissions though. frown
