Heated seats suddenly stopped working

The heated seats on my 05 987 have suddenly stopped working. Neither seat works and the orange lights on the dash don't light up either.

Is it likely to be a fuse? All other electrics on the car seem to be working just fine.

I would be checking the fuse and relay as my first step.

I will do that, but need to find the fuse map.

I have been doing a bit of digging and it appears that when the battery runs flat (as mine recently has), the car sometimes 'forgets' that it has the heated seats and/or headlight washer options fitted and it needs to be returned to OPC for reprogramming

Headlight wash working??

I would go to an OPC and ask them to do a 'Handover' using the PIWIS tester - they occasionally reset and stop working unless the system is rebooted

I'll have to check that this afternoon. Thanks for the offer, but I am not local to Swindon.

No worries. A handover will take no longer than 15 minutes if you ask specifically for that process to be done then the cost will stay low.

Most OPC's are doing free Winter checks' now though so maybe worth a look tying the two up??
