Knee Pads

Anyone got any recommendations knee pads? I've had some 661 Kyle Straights but find them too bulky - looking for something comfortable to ride up and down hills in.

I bought these http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ey/en/troy-lee-... as well as the elbow / forearm versions. I've had them just over a month and ridden around 200 miles with them and can't fault them in terms of comfort, no rubbing, no slipping down.

I got the smalls after reading that some people did have problems with slipping and if in doubt get the smaller size.

My only criticism would be some of the stitching has come undone but this may well be due to them being small and right at the limit of the stretch of their elasticity.

The Nukeproof pull on pads are excellent. They are quite bulky but very comfortable. No rubbing at all even on a 40 plus miler around the Peak District.

The D3O material makes it really comfortable because you don't have to have a solid piece to protect you. The D3O is impact initiated; so it's pliable when wearing them normally but on impact they harden up. Lovely things.

I recently bought some Fox Launch pads, and I'm very impressed with them. Its my first set of pads and I was a bit worried that they would feel bulky \ restrictive, but so far I've been pleasently surprised. They also seem to do a good job of keeping my knees warm in the cold weather, not sure if this'll mean they're too warm in summer though......

I've got the IXS Flow knee and elbow pads and find them very comfortable.

I also came from the Kyle Strait knee pads which I found too bulky, and a set of 661 elbow pads which were plain uncomfortable.
