Shoe cleaning

How do you boys clean your MTB shoes? Hose off and leave to dry or something else?

Cleats and studs out and in the washing machine.

Bottom of the airing cupboard to dry, with newspaper stuffed in them if really wet, then once dry brush the dirt off with a stiff brush.

Mud, grass and horse $hi! as well or get most of the crap off first? Not sure how the Mrs would view filling the washing machine with loads of crud! And If I applied rule 5 to this I would more then likely end up with my bollx on a plate for tea!

Thanks guys, washing machine aside then, not much different to what I'm doing now. Just wondered if there was something like muc off for shoes!

Just got back from a wet/dirty ride and do the same as neenaw, hose the shoes while I'm hoseing the rest of my bike/kit then stuff em with newspaper and put them under the radiator in the kitchen
