Interesting, young guy, new cars and engines, could make for an interesting combo!

I'm gutted.....

I would have hoped that Oliver Turvey would be the ideal replacement...

One year deal only. Which leaves the field wide open for 2015 when I bet Alonso will be driving for them....

Lets hope he is a whole heap better than his father who 'failed to turn up at McLaren' when given the keys.

Or it's an easy get out if he doesn't perform as expected, possibly even down to who Honda want in the car alongside JB in 12 months time....

He only did one race for McLaren and he didn't embarrass himself there. the year and a half at Stewart Ford was embarrassing. especially considering his pedigree in the junior formulae.

And it makes you feel old when he's Jan's son. Although if he had made a bigger impression at Stewart and as bigger impact as he did in jnr formula at still only 40 he could have been still around. First father and son on an F1 grid would have been mental.
