PH Cycling Weekend 9-11 May 2014

So the deposit is paid, Plas Isa is booked, just need some people to fill it for the weekend... Assume a very similar weekend to 2013, if you didnt come or dont know, it was fairly simple. Arrive Friday evening and have a few beers and pizzas, ride on the Saturday followed by some beers and then some more beers before dinner out at The Gatehouse and then a ride out to the seaside on Sunday.
In fact here is what you missed...
There are a few road options dependent upon the weather, the 2013 93km route over some cracking hills was popular and I added a loop to create a 130km route if the sun is out. The Sunday route has a cheeky climb but is pretty short so everyone who has a long journey can be off in the early afternoon (after bacon sandwiches). MTBers will be looked after, there are loads of trail centres in the locality and Snowdon isnt too far away or there is the DIY option with some creativity and an OS map...
Now Mrspablo is due to give birth on the 20th April so I will either only be there for the Saturday or not there at all, negotiations have already been opened but SteveVRS has kindly volunteered to be your host for the weekend! As for the formalities, Plas Isa sleeps 24 people and once again we have sole occupancy. The bill for accomodation is £600, split between 24 is £25 and Steve has offered to do the big shop so if we had a £5 on to it gives him £120 for beer and bacon... Payment is cheque or paypal to me please and that secures a bed! I'll forward the grocery fund on to Steve before May!

Seconded on the weather. 50 miles in a waterproof commuting jacket wasn't ideal...

I've not ridden for 2 months now, as I'm coming to the end of large house renovation and just couldn't spare the time. The PH weekend is my goal to work towards (start training after Christmas). That hill's going to hurt!

Sounds interesting - maybe I'll bring the MTB and the road bike, and have a go at both. Not been to Dolgellau since 6th form Geography trip where we bought a sheep from the local auction for our teacher.
Can someone who knows how to do these things put my name on the list, along with GarryKiller pls? And whoever I have to pay, PM me the details.

Some admin. I took both bikes last year but the weather scuppered the snowdon descent plan and it was cold and wet so we drank beer instead.
