Thanks for those figures, makes for interesting reading.
18% increase in units but only a 4% increase in turnover and profit, things are obviously getting tougher for the richest car manufacturer in the world.
Also surprising how sales for Panamera have taken a tumble

Interesting, our local OPC at Tonbridge were saying that Boxsters & Caymans have been flying out of the door.

The slower rise in revenue probably reflects mix change rather than any pressure/deals on sales prices. Huge rise in Boxster sales at low end, huge drop in Panamera at the other

Paying 100k for a sports car is a psychological step too far for most - even those doing reasonably well? The 981 pricing hits the ceiling and is no longer perceived as the "poor mans Porsche" , even if it is hierarchically.

More than 50% of all units shipped were SUVs.

A sign of the times that being a sports car manufacturer probably isn't a lucrative business to be in.

The 981 certainly seems to be a major success.

3 or 4 year deals taken out in 2009 are expiring so you get an automatic sales bump for people buying new replacements and this is what these figures show (they are obv time lagged) and the 2013 activity in the OPC's.

These are presumably worldwide figures? Would be interesting to see year on year figures just for the UK if so to compare.

So let's celebrate the SUV smile

Will Lambo/Ferrari ever make SUV's? There would be plenty of demand from the affluent customer base.

It's not much more successful than the Panamera? Can't compare to 2012 though as the model was launched that year.
