Would the plane take off - video attached
Discussion
I just spotted this cool video:

Basically, a guy lands a plane on the deck of a cargo ship, AND takes off again! I searched and could only find the original "will it take off?" thread about the conveyor belt...

Great stunt but why would anyone think it's "seemingly impossible" though? It's common practice on aircraft carriers to sail in the wind when launching and recovering aircraft to reduce the deck speed needed, and there's a stunt pilot that lands his plane on the top of truck at airshows. How do these people think kites fly?

No. However I have watched attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion and C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.

With one fat b word pilot... err.... European...?!
(no idea what that means or is referring to...)
I think it's a reference to Monty Python's Holy Grail and whether or not it was an African or European Swallow carrying a coconut. (no idea what that means or is referring to...)

However I could be wrong.
Arrrrggggghhhhh.
