Head to Confused.com
I had a renewal for £490 FC from H&R. Got a price of £220 FC from this site. Result!

goto www.insurance2000.co.uk its a H&R website that will do a search for the cheapest insurance company. They were by far the best quote i had to insure my 600. I think that the nearest company was £300 more!

What i started doing is call one company say the quote is £600,call the next one saying you've had a quote for £520,then maybe they'll say they'll match/beat that, take their quote and carry on like that to the next company reducing the actual quote you've just been given, sometimes you'll get on a role, sometimes you won't but i've had some cracking quotes if the company is desperate enough for your money.I ended up with Carole Nash incidentally, but ofcourse everyone's situation is different:-)
