I work for a big UK company but I still can't believe how a such a big company can get away with screwing so many peoples pay every month, practically every pay slip there is a screwup.

Firstly the pay slips are pretty much impossible to figure out, especially if you have done any overtime or had any holiday during that month but to make matters worse there is at least a few pounds missing every month which no one bothers chasing up.

My problem has been the last three months, where my hours had increase. Due to the way the payslips are worked out, I still don't exactly know how much i'm owed but with the build up of last three months it has to be around £500+. I've done wage queries for all these months and every time I've been told it will be sorted in the next months payslip after but not only do they not fix it but I have been getting random deductions on the newer payslip without any explanation.

No one seems to care or even bother to sit down and explain anything. Tbh I've really had enough and I'm in a big financial mess as I'm funding my university tuition fee myself and the constant mess ups have put me on the back foot with meeting deadlines. I'm part of the union but the union rep turned out to be a thief and demoted, so no one to talk with. I really dunno what to do and they wont even tell me how much money i'm owed or how they even work out their retarded payslips.

How about lodging a complaint through their grievance procedure.

Post up a pic of your payslip and blank out your name, NI number and company name. I'll have a go at desyphering it for you!

Do you work for the RAF? Oh no, I see you mention overtime, plenty of that - but unpaid (all inclusive).

The shinys are always messing peoples pay up, no come back on them though, they don't follow any QA system. dog eggs.

This would only work after an internal grievqnce procedure was exhausted.

Would be the most fun way though. Isn't it funny how the pay mistakes are never in employees favour.

Or, more likely, no one ever mentions it when it's in their favour...

Is your PAYE Code right?

Would you know if it wasn't?

Managed to track down the person that does the wages and she didn't have a clue about anything I was on about, even though my manger has been claiming that he has talked to her and passed on my wage queries all the way from august.

Anyway she tracked me down a day later and claims my manager who has to authorise everyones hours on a weekly basis has not been authorising my hours, which explains all the unpaid hours. Even she was shocked by all the money i'm owed and she said she's going to try and sort something out asap.

Tbh these constant fk up has pretty much made me hate my job and lose any passion I had. It has got to a point where I honestly don't give a st about any customer or customer service. I can happily say no to them with a straight face whereas before I would genuinely struggle to say no and I would try my best to accommodate them.
