Ride for Michael - fundraiser (Michael Bonney - Orange MTB)

Hi folks,

I'm trying to raise some money for Michael Bonney, some of you have probably heard of him and what he went through earlier this year. I've known Michael for some 8-10 years and we share a passion for motorcycles, push bikes, music amongst other things and I'm trying to do my bit as it were.

Michael sustained a C3 spinal fracture while out riding his road bike which means he's now paralysed from the neck down and is on a ventilator for life also. He will require a carer 24/7 for the rest of his life unfortunately, more details are on the sites above. The big thing is that it will cost around £100K per year to maintain the medical attention he will need.

So how can you help? Well I'm trying to grow a moustache for Movember but I'm growing it for him, i.e. Mo4Michael as I've called it, this isn't that simple as I'll challenged when it comes to facial hair so I'm on day 8 and I've attached today's photo below. Yes there's a silly hat and if it helps raise some money I'll even take requests on what to wear it's for a good cause after all.
