I know it's a 2 hour drive, but it's worth it. I drove up there for all my work on my S4.

http://www.qstuning.com/ at Haywards Heath. Kim Collins has run the place for years, Audi S & RS specialist, along with MRC (and possibly AMD) I doubt anyone else in the UK knows their way around high end Audis better (including your local dealer). Not cheap though, but you get what you pay for. Used QST for both my S2 and RS4, quite fancy an S6 V10 and if I get one I won't hessitate to use Kim again.

I also used "Trevors" garage in Copthorne for my S2, who I think are now TC Garage. At the time he also had an S2 and certainly knew his way round the car. Had no problems with work but did have a couple of issues with service, typically car not being ready when expected, poor (or no) communication hence the move to QST. This was a long time ago though.

Whilst not having had a service by Kim (as above) he has mapped ,y 2 previous Audis and recently fitted the S4 with a Miltek exhaust. He certainly seems to know his way around an Audi. Nice guy too.

Thanks for the recommendations.

TC Garage were suprisingly more expensive than my local main dealer who included replacement filters and spark plugs, yet TC would only change them "if they were needed once they'd had a look at them", and would then charge even more.

Local main dealer will also pick the car up from me or give me a loan car foc, where-as TC would charge £15 + 24p/mile for a loan car.

Haven't spoken to all the recommendations yet but so far Harwoods Audi at Five Oaks are looking pretty good.

Haven't dealt with the service department at Five Oaks but Lee in sales sold me my last 2 cars when at Brighton Audi so more than likely buy my next one through him. Nice set-up there. I've always had my cars main dealer serviced but then I've been very fortunate with the service dept at Brighton. You do hear complaints of too many main dealers (not heard anything bad about Five Oaks for the record)

They're just under an hour away from Horsham. Worth the drive, some very extensive knowledge and have comitted alot of money and time to tuning. Attention to detail is second to none and genuine parts used. They also have a courtesy car available if needed.

Give them a ring, Kate will answer the phone who is the co-owner with her brother, Jim. Both car enthusiasts and great people.

Five Oaks Audi were cheaper than the Indie's and having a complete Audi service history is a big plus.

Very good service, even replaced a missing Carbon Fibre Oil Filter Mounting Bracket Cover Gromet FOC when they'd quoted me 85p for it - perhaps they forgot to add it to the invoice! laugh

Kim looked after my Golf GTI, consistently excellent service (servicing & repairs).
