Porsche 997 C4S wet door panels

I have an 06 997 C4S with an official Porsche Warranty and I've just noticed that the bottom of the internal door panel on the drivers side is soaking wet. Having done a bit of research, this seems like a common problem, caused by degradation of an internal foam seal, behind the door panel. Porsche are saying they need to strip the door and investigate and they can't confirm if this is covered by the warranty until they've done this. Has anyone else had this problem and more importantly, has anyone had this fixed under the Porsche warranty? Thanks Ben.

I had this on my Cayman, it was steaming up and when I enquired my OPC said to check if the door panels were wet.

Both door membranes were done under warranty with no quibbles.

There seems to be a level of inconsistency between OPCs when it comes to warranty work!

I had the steaming up issue on my 08 997TT that I used to own back in 2011. It was done under the official Porsche used car warranty. They did say that technically it was not covered but they still did it for free in the end.
