Why have you removed my posting

Yesterday I posted about the identification of a noise that has been concerning readers for many months and about which I also have received private E-Mails and it has been removed due to "self promotion" apparently.
I must say I am most surprised - as there have been many topics about this ticking noise form bank 2 and several replies about it from me on the forum and I have also received a lot of communications from specialists Worldwide about it. I thought it would be reassuring to them to understand technically wehave finally traced it and found it is not a sign of impending failure and that we have proven the diagnosis but not yet worked out a viable product based solution - that will also then need testing and therefore commercially is a long way away.
I do not now have a copy of the posting as I typed it in live - so it is difficult to look back at it and see where I have gone wrong.
Could the administrators please return it and either show me where I need to change it or alternatively allow me to re-write it and re-submit it until they are happy with it.
Some guidelines may also help.
It is a strange decision because I posted this totally in the interests of readers and without any immediate product sales benefit - and am frankly not sure why this is regarded as self promotion - except that anyone who knows their stuff and tries to help readers cannot help but indicate their capabilities if they write about it.
The noise has concerned many people and I am amazed that revealing the source has been found is regarded as self promotion.
If you look back over previous postings you will find ones about this noise and my replies entirely consistent with my latest post that has been removed.
Why not re-apply it and ask the members what they think - if they think it is entirely self promotion I will hold my hand up and apologise and try again.

Personally I would be very interested in reading Baz's post! they generally make for the most interesting and informative of reads, and I am sure I not only speaking personally here.
Self promotion or not - and I am sure its not if Baz says so, we are all capable of coming to our own conclusions rather than being nannied and 'protected' by the forum moderators!
