St Albans to Ealing Broadway - Driving for a 9am start

Just wondering if anyone drove from St Albans (or similar) to Ealing Broadway (or close) who could advise approximate/real journey times in the rush hour... to ideally arrive at 9ish but guess I might need to get there earlier to save real-time.

I know how long it would take by public transport - wondering what I'm really looking at in a car (AA says 50 minutes but that will be off-peak).

I live in berkhamsted and if I want to get there for 8 am I would leave at 630 so for you I would leave at 715 at the latest 7 to be sure
