The forecast up here doesn’t look too bad. It’s the opening weekend for the new Glenlivet trail centre so I’ll be heading up early on Sunday morning for a couple of loops of the red/black loop.

Including ride to and from start, it's ~145 miles assuming we don't get lost

I didn't spend a fortune winterizing my bike and buying waterproof, windproof, nuclear bomb proof gear only to stay in when it rains and/or gets a bit windy. I'll be out this weekend, and every weekend throughout winter, barring hurricane force winds, heavy snow or severe ice (roadie, not a mountee ).

I'm travelling light tomorrow, no saddlebag. Spare tubes and tools in jersey pockets. Cash for food. Had to give up one waterbottle cage for lights battery so one 750ml bottle and refill en-route

I need dome large flaps, what's me options? I have metal guards, I don't have any holes, I want to avoid drilling some at the moment as I have only just managed to fit the guards so they stop rattling, so don't fancy re-fitting them. Any pointers?
