Is there a heart rate monitor package available which comes with both a cycle computer and watch?
Cycle computer needs to be wireless and cadence. Not so bothered about GPS.
Thanks.

Back in the day, Polar used to do watches that had a removable strap that allowed you to use them for cycling.

I know they still do various add on sensors for their HRMs, worth having a look

Garmin do a gps watch and hrm pack, and you can add a cadence sensor to it. Its neat as you can use Garmins own software to track all your data for however long, regardless of activity. On that note you can use the computer to configure the watch to your chosen activity.

I have the 305 which has been superceeded 405.

As far as I know.. no. Not without going to the more expensive garmin gps watch type solutions. A conventional bike computer, a HRM watch and a handle bar mount might be the best compromise:

Alternatively the garmin watches, particularly 310 / 910 are very good..

I use a Suunto Ambit for cycling. It'll do heart rate, cadence etc and although you're not bothered about GPS, it's got navigation too - which I find handy for doing rides I've not done before. I wear mine on the wrist but the mount cost buttons if you need it on the bars.

I have a 510 for the bike and a 910xt for triathlon/swim/run. I use the 510 for the weekend rides and sportives and watch when I am doing other disciplines and events. Expensive bl00dy hobby all this stuff!!

Garmin connect is key for me as I need to see my efforts etc to maintain that motivation level!

Best of luck picking but I shopped around for best fit solutions and came back to Garmin.

Cheers DJ
