Another hypocrite

To be honest, anyone in a position of authority who either upholds or takes part in the creation of laws that govern our lives need to be whiter than white, whether that's the police, an MP or whoever. Break the laws you enforce or help create then they should receive the maximum penalty under law.
Although she did plead guilty and has been fined, I'm not sure being fired and losing a pension over a red light is a reasonable punishment!
However this half-wit with the 'lycra lout' comment was just pandering to the (disapointingly large) anti cyclist feeling in this country in the desperate hope of winning votes, the people who agreed with her are themselves too stupid to look at the facts for themselves.
