Post your dyno curve here
Discussion
There are a number of interesting threads running at the moment with people posting their dyno curves and engine specs. Thought it'd be a good idea to get all these graphs/specs in one place for future referance.
So, post your engine spec (capacity, cam, heads, exhausts, ECU, etc and who built it) and then your curves. It'd also be good to put up previous specs/curves so we can see the engines development and which upgrades etc. work best.
Mine is a 500 with a TVR Power Taraka Plus rebuild, specs here - http://www.tvrpower.co.uk/upgrades/50-litre-taraka...
Pre-cats removed
320 bhp and 355 torques

Er right, first graph is pre-rebuild in 2011, turns out there were no trumpets but otherwise I believe the spec was standard Chimera 500. Was roughly 285bhp and 282torque.
Engine was rebuilt in 2011, High perf' V8D short engine, cross bolted, H beam rods, forged pistons, Original 500 heads with additional porting (V8D stage IV spec), 10.6:1 CR, heads and manifolds port matched, Act triple throttle bodied CF plenum with 45mm trumpets, Ford red top high flow injectors, Bespoke camshaft, LR coil packs, MS2 ECU fuel and ignition, and pre-cats removed.
Then, end of 2012/beginning of 2013 a new larger airbox with bigger inlet was fitted (more air in), and a decatted Clive F 'Y' piece installed.
So, second graph shows figures post rebuild (April 2012) and post installation of induction mods and decat Y piece. The induction mods and Y piece appeared to result in a power increase of around 27 bhp, and torque increase of 27 lbft. Although not a great percentage increase, the difference on the road was very noticeable, which I think can be seen in the change to the shape of the torque curve in graph 2.
My bank balance curve is very similar to the power curve in graph 2 but in reverse

4.0ltr pre-serp Super Charger (SC Power) running up to 10 boost, standard cam, Emerald ECU, still has main cat, Engineer1949 built it (see http://tvrengineer.co.uk/)
351 bhp 376 lbs

It starts big & early on and stays flat as a flat thing, Phazed torque is amazing too.
This must feel nuts in such a light car

Good work fellas

My favourite is Nick's supercharged 4.0 litre though:
351 bhp 376 lbs

I need a supercharger on 'Ol Gasbag' so much it hurts

Here's my rather ghay effort in this company:

Still a fun cheap car to drive though

SPECS:
Engine: 4.0 Litre HC
Cam: Stealth from V8 Developments
Engine Management: Canems Dual Fuel ECU
Induction: Full ACT induction kit, K&N filter, SC-Power plenum spacer & trumpet bell mouths
Injectors: Petrol - Vauxhall Vecra pitel type, LPG - Magic Jets
Exhaust: Pre-cat & main cat banished to the naughty corner - ACT flowed de-cat "Y" piece
Fuel used on this run: LPG

Effortless best describes the on road performance - if I ever manage to get it on track then I hope to discover the mental side of the engine. It starts big & early on and stays flat as a flat thing, Phazed torque is amazing too.

Good selection of curves so far, don't forget to list your engine specs so we can see why the curve looks like it does (The Himalayas in Derek's case)

5.5 RV8 built by Rob, (V8D) some 7 years ago. 356 brake and 390 torque.
Limited info that I have;
Chevy crank, H beam rods and pistons.
H404 cam
Stage 3 heads.
Triple plenum and enlarged tyrumpet base.

Mine is explained somewhat in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2wZf3DfVuAIts a 4.6 with 500 heads, ported inlet, blended trumpet base, a real steel typhoon cam, full decat and MS.
NA gave 329.8 bhp and still rising at 6200 rpm. Torque is a little disappointing at around 315.
On the second run a 75 shot of gas took torque to nearly 500 at 3750 rpm with peak power reaching 437.9
On the 3rd run the stage 1 hit suffered a little from pressure drop from the first run. A second stage of nitrous is added later up the rev range picking up the dropping torque and power peaking at 483.8
It should be noted that higher numbers could have been achieved if we activated the second stage earlier and also ran the car past 6000 rpm on the nitrous runs. Better safe than sorry i guess

Nice
Baby V8's rock!
I believe the 4.3 saw a lot more attention to the heads than something like my 1996 4.0HC?
Your's is making 62.13 HP per litre.
Mine seems to be making almost exactly the same at 62.45 HP per litre on LPG.
The big boys appear to be making anything from 64 HP per litre to db484bhpv8's very impressive 71.69hp per litre without NoS.
I expect mine is the only one out of the whole lot that's not got a pair of fancy ported heads though, so I'm happy with my 249.8hp from 'Ol (45mpg) Gasbag'.
I wonder who has the highest BHP per litre normally aspirated non nitrous RV8, I'd say Derek's figure will be hard to beat if we keep it restricted to drivable road cars

It would be interesting to find out.
EDIT!
Chilli comes in on top with a mighty 72.02hp per litre, making it the most efficient RV8 of the group so far

Can anyone beat Chilli?
