My trickle charger has been switched off. Help getting in.
Discussion
Hello.
I've just gone into my garage for what could be the first time in months and noticed that the trickle charger was turned off at the wall. Now by batteries flat and I can't get in. Help please.
Due to security and just the generally bad idea of posting how to break into a Tuscan, my e-mail address is:
dan@dan-kelly.co.uk
Many thanks in anticipation.

I'd say just turn the trickle charger back on.
This will give the battery the best chance of a recovery, albeit, you may have to wait a day or two before trying to start the car.
Alternatively, get another (charged) battery and use the Anderson connector behind front N/S wheel/by the outrigger to power everything up. You could also jack the front up, remove the battery cover (2 off self tappers and pull from top) in the wheel arch to reveal the battery, and use conventional jump leads with crocodile clips.
To be honest, your forum history is sparse, so most folks would be reluctant to give you any more information. If you need something from the car, then the slave battery method will get you in quickly. You could always 'phone the person from whom you bought the car, or your service garage to advise on the other methods to get in.

Will crank you from a completely flat battery. Whether your battery will return from a long discharged spell is another matter, but it wouldn't hurt too much to try...

Hi all! Thanks for the input, I tired turning the trickle charger on and leaving it for a while... a few weeks and still nothing! I'm afraid that the battery is absolute toast now. Could anyone please help?
I wouldn't want anybody to obviously broadcast the way that we can get into these motors, but I had a similar problem with my 500 Chimp and that was easy enough. Obviously the same method does not apply to the Tuscan Mk1, but there must be a way.
Many thanks in anticipation.
