Rock 'n' roll all day until I'm going to sleep when I listen to folk rock instead.

For me it's Pop. I like these kind of music to listen in the morning.

Something reasonably upbeat, helps me get myself together in the morning so I can actually get stuff done during the day!

Quiet slow stuff before bed yes

I listen to, ahem, Radio 4 in the morning, unless the politicians get too annoying and then it tends to be whatever's in the CD player.

Me too.

Something like The Killers - Mr Brightside or INXS - New Senstation does the trick.

I draw the line at @Walking on Sunshine' though.

I have one track that features on a few 'special' mornings for me.

By 'special' I mean those mornings when I get into the car, bleary-eyed after having a rubbish night's sleep, because I am heading off to something important like a job interview or an exam at University.

It is always Marilyn Manson - The Fight Song

I defy anyone to not be ready for any occasion after playing this on a loop! biggrin
