Last week we announced that tickets for our annual black tie dinner have been released and we thank all of you who have already purchased one. If you are still undecided, or missed our earlier announcement, allow us to tell you more.

BTaP has been running for years and 2013 sees us return to our regular location of Tortworth Court Hotel in the Cotswolds, the perfect location for a relaxing weekend away and a few refreshing drinks of course.

The format is simple; we meet in the bar (or around the cars if the weather is kind) mid- afternoon for a few drinks chatting to friends old and new. Later in the evening you will be wined, dined and entertained from 18.00 through to midnight… occasionally much later.

It is the year-end party for PistonHeads, a chance for us to lay on a great night as we celebrate the passing of another year as only PHers can.

Throughout the night there will be several (non-pushy) opportunities to donate to the BTaP charity Cancer Research, the most popular being our raffle which offers the opportunity to win some great prizes.

On the night you can expect the following, laid on especially for you.

• Pre-dinner drinks in the PH private bar
• A three-course meal featuring pie
• Red and white wine on the table
• After-dinner speeches (worth the entry fee alone)
• A charity raffle in aid of Cancer Research
• Black Jack and roulette in the bar
• A DJ playing until the end of the evening
• Live entertainment

Also what about special rates for an overnight stay too? I might be up for that!

We have found in recent years that a pre-agreed 'discounted' rate with the hotel could be beaten on sites such as Last Minute...as a result we ask that guests source and book their own room.

Thanks Paul, looks like i might already be away for that weekend, so not sure i can make it for then.
