Just a quick note to say hi to all fellow Yorkshire PHers from a new member.
I am 26 and am based in Scarborough though I lived in York until last year. I work for a franchised dealer selling Mitsubishi stuff (unfortunately we're not Ralliart dealers so no Evo)s.
After a Mitsi GTO (which I bought the day after passing my test!) and an FTO I now have an RX7 twin turbo although that might change tomorrow (Friday) as I am going to have a look at a Porsche 928 S4 for a change. I also run a company car, usually an L200 Warrior pickup (with the 138bhp upgrade they feel pretty quick!).
Working in the trade means I don't get much time off but when I do I look forward to meeting some of you and going to some of the meets. Are any of you going to Le Mans next year?

There's quite a few runs organised although it's getting to the end of the season maybe
. Should still be one or two things going on sometime.
Crowd going to Le Mans, there's a thread around somewhere with details.

Shame you're a bit out on a limb. but there are usually plenty of things going on, the might want to have a look at the N.East forum aswell as they may be a bit nearer for you (if you haven't already that is).
Le Mans has a big following, there is a Le Mans thread somewhere in the Yorks forum... however, check out tyhe EuroHoon thread if you want some serious driving fun

Welcome to PH.
RX7, lovely. Make sure the 928 you look at is spot on, they can be very expensive to repair any problems. A good (though sadly not cheap) garage for these is Specialist Cars of Malton:
