Lovely day down here in North Cornwall so got the Tuscan out took roof off and went for a spin.

Had to stop of at our local Tesco on the way home sky looked dark so put the roof back on when some guy drove past and shouted "stop posing you asshole" unfortunately he did not stop for me to have a word in his fat ugly face.

Had two wedges and a Chim and never had this problem before, is it a Tuscan thing? or was it a one of Tw*t?

cheers

...Just let it wash over you.

You can't stop the ignoramus' of the world expressing their small-minded spiteful thoughts.

Be comforted by the fact that you can drive a nice British car.

Was driving for a couple of hours today - saw at least 6 people who smiled because of seeing the car. You will encounter the odd jealous idiot but it's because the car looks so good that they feel jealous. Nice people will enjoy seeing the car. Don't let numptees put you off - British/rarer sports cars bring happiness to not just the owners.

I always thought the Tuscan looked out of place at Tescos, that's why I bought a Chim aswell smile . The Tuscan isn't a shopping TVR smile .

I had the complete opposite experience recently when my son and 1 took our Tuscan went to France and Belgium via Dover Calais ferry covering about 1000 miles. We could not believe the interest the car received, people would stop and take photos of it and many people would come and talk to you about it. Had TVRs on and off for years and have never had a comment like you experienced. Let it wash over you and just enjoy a lovely car.

On the bright side, you own a Tuscan and he's just a bloke who shouts at people and runs away.

Its not just Tuscan owners who get it.

Ive seen it a few times myself either out on my own or out on a blast with the TVR club.

Had it directed at me once after i overtook a young woman on a clear stretch of road, she happen to roll up behind me at the next set of lights to say a similar thing to me rolleyes

I guess people get jealous easily or have a bad day and find someone else to sound off at.

Would be T350 or Sag owner, they have issues with not being able to get the roof off

Its definitely not just a Tuscan thing,
On the last tunnel run, I went through Greenwich in our Chim to show Shelly the Naval college and Maritime Museum on the way to the park, I stopped to let someone cross at a pedestrian crossing and a woman came running up and started on me, "You and your car are a disgrace, you should be arrested for making all that noise, that exhaust can't be legal and how dare you drive round on a Saturday morning disturbing everyone."
For a split second I agreed, as it is sleeved and de-catted, then I thought up yours lady! and gave her both barrels as I pulled away, only to see the look of extreme hatred on her face in the mirrors.
She did look the type that would have a go at a dog walker for trying to strangle a dog because its on a leash.
