I went to the agency I've been with for years but just come back as had a seasonal(marquee) job.and they want to go self employed,I'd rather stay paye though, but then they said there's a new law that won't let you take your holiday pay after your assignment is done,I can't see how this is fair.
You 1 weeks work and acrew say £30 holiday pay but you can't take it the next monday as your assignment has finished and can't take it during the week as your working so I can't see why they are doing this? Anyone know more about it? Thanks russ

Sounds like bollix. I just phone, text or email my agency and they release any or all of my retained holiday pay, working or not.

As the other poster said, it's bollix.

Ask for your holiday pay in writing, giving 7 days to pay it.
