Any experiences of the ROOCK performance upgrades?

...for the 996 (C2 or C4)

I'm thinking of having their 30bhp upgrade (ECU remap, plus complete exhaust system incl headers, cat etc.). Costs about £4k incl VAT.

I'm also consdiering their sports suspension kit.

Sorry no experience, but is 4K really worth 30 php on a car that weighs over a ton? I'm sure you won't really notice the extra bhp, which with probably only come into effect high in the rev range?? Don't want to p**s on you fire but it seems a lot of money for such a small increase. Surely people like RUF an dtechart do are larger conversion for that sort of money?

Now the sports suspension IMO is a great choice - will transform the way the car feels. I've driven a C2 with it and it felt great compared to the 993TT handling wise.

UV has the kit on his 965 Turbo 2 and raves about it - dunno if anyone has a suitably kitted 996

I have the roock chip on my 964RS, but not sure you are talking massive gains (I have only ever known the car with it fitted so can't give before/after comparison, but output of my car is good (271bhp) but not amazing (some completely standard 964RSs will hit that figure)

930 motorsport offered me a 350bhp upgrade for 4.5k. They're bringing out a supercharger conversion soon too.

My 993RS has a Roock sportssytem fitted to it. Claims to increas power from the standard 300 to about 340 (cylinder heads were done by Roock as well). Was told that this cost about £10k. Not sure if I would have paid that myself but was on the car when I bought it.
