who prefer's the older style lighting on the 3200 gt ?
i have seen the new light clusters on the website and to me i dont think it makes the maserati looks as "exclusive" as the older style lighting did ?
does anyone else see it this way?

True, thouhg a lot of 4200 owners have complained about the switch as the new ones don't look as exclusive - or anywhere near as cool!

MAranellos still offer the option to convert the rear lights on the 4200 to 3200 style ones. Costs a bomb though!

Some bloke found a bomb in his back garden down the road from me a few weeks back. I think he handed it over to the army. should have told him to get up to London and swap it for some 3200 lights.

I do prefer the early ones. Later ones do remind me of the prelude. When flasher first bowled up at mine in the maser the rear lights really set the car off, especially in black. Looked the dogs, the photos dont do the maser justice.

Speaking as a 4200 owner, I much prefer the 3200s rear lights, however I prefer the 4200s, engine, gearbox, Interior, servicing costs and fit and finish so it's not all bad!

I wonder if the 4200 centre console could be retro fitted to allow the sat nav ?

Probably uneconomic. Have you thought about a Garmin Quest. £400 and take it from car to car. I'm planning on getting on in time for next years Hoon.

Or you could sell the 3200, and buy the 4200 (with sat nav).

Its a bit of an expensive modification though.

I did toy with doing something similar for a while, chop in the Merc for an E55 (debadged) and see how long it took Emm to notice.

Dunno, but it was the unit I borrowed from Nick on the Eurohoon trip. I've seen it on the net for £370 so far.

check out the gransport centre console

Can't you get a fancy alpine unit that will pop the screen out of a 1 unit radio?
