MINI Specialist in South East??

Hi there

Can anyone recommend a MINI (/BMW) specialist in the Woking, Guildford, Camberley, Basingstoke area please??

Hi Tanya,

Give Will a ring at TWG Automotive. They're based in Camberley and are listed in the recommend indies over in the BMW section.

I had mine in there a few months ago for an interim service, MOT and gearbox oil change. Spotless workshop, good sensible advice, genuine parts used.

Looks like they can get busy judging by the number of cars outside. I certainly wasn't prepared for a day-long mooch around Camberley! (I'm not local to there). Having said that, I'd definitely rather a garage took their time and care over a job over banging cars out as quickly as possible; an attitude shared by Will.

Thank you for the response. I will give them a call. I would rather they had a car for the day too than rush a job! Yes, a whole day in Camberely may not be the best place to spend it!

Another vote for Will @ TWG. Took our MINI there last month following a coolant loss and they were great. No nonsense advice and straightforward to deal with. Will be using them from now on.

Bit further but certainly worth travelling for is Tony at Mini Motorsport. He's the JCW top boy from back when. Based in Shoreham.

Always does a top job and is the man to go to for anything Mini imho.

Slight thread hijack but on topic... Does anyone know of a decent service place around South Bucks? It's for an ordinary auto Cooper on a 52 plate.

Why not try main dealer?

Through the "value line" service option, prices are really quite reasonable (check on mini.co.uk). My indy quoted £190 for an oil service while at BMW its £134.
