TBH there might be figures, but it depends on the bike, route, tyres and fitness of the rider (you gotta be fit to do good speeds on a MTB on the road!!)
On my commute which is 9.9 miles, flat with a few bumps and a 10% climb (up on way, down on way home)
On average with a rucksack an pushing fairly hard but not flat out:
30-35 minutes on a MTB with slicks (depends on wind)
26-32 minutes for road bike
29-35 minutes for a steel tourer/road bike
Thats on a rural commute, no traffic lights, one busy junction , but is open to heavy wind
Due to rough surface of road MTB is quite quick on some bits, but the lack of drops when riding into the wind slows me down a lot, as does less focus gear ratios

Yeah rucksack every day, hill is about 1/2 a mile in total , 300 metres is fairly steep, rest is rising slowly. Is a nice climb as it wakes you up in the morn!26 is my best I usually do it in 30 ish mins , but I'm holding back as I want to pace myself through the week and be mechanically sympathetic to the bike over the pot holes & rough sections having broken too many spokes recently!!!
I'm tempted by a TT, but never got round to it, I was going to Strava some local routes and compare .
I actually prefer doing it on a heavier & older bike as it gets you fitter and makes you appreciate a decent bike when you ride on it.
