Hoping for some advice.

Just realised I paid the wrong Credit Card company via my mobile app.

I have a Credit Card with CreditCardCompany1 which I have only ever used as 0% interest and transferred money to it from CreditCardCompany2

CreditCardCompany1 is currently all paid up

CreditCardCompany2 has some amount on it <£1k

On my phone I have a an App with my Current Bank Account (have done this loads of times before) of which I transferred £100 to CreditCardCompany2, or so I thought. I've just checked my statement as this payment was not showing up and low and behold I must have selected the wrong one "CreditCardCompany1"

I'm going to go to my Bank tomorrow, but in the meantime has anyone else done similar and got the money back?

I could just use the credit on CreditCardCompany1 to make some payments, but that in itself means spending £100 exactly, not an easy task really and the money will be better spent paying of CreditCardCompany2

Hope that all made sense.

I got refunded by cheque when I accidentally paid a credit card bill twice.

Apart from the fees you mean? Probably charge around 2% I would think, depends if £20 or so bothers you.

You can't use a credit card to pay for VED in a post office. Only online.

Can't you just spend it on your next couple k of shops / tanks of fuel?

If it goes over £100 just pay the difference onto the card when you get the bill.

That is what the £100 was supposed to be paying off the other card lol

Damn, ha a feeling you couldn't pay by credit card at the post office but not 100%, only usually use Debit Card for that.
