Reported in a local rag:

A bloke had been banned for 4 years for drunk driving. He was caught driving 4 months before the end of the ban. He immediately coughed to the coppers the disqualifiction, and it turns out he employs a driver, but that day the driver was ill, so the bloke decides to drive anyway.

Found guilty of driving while disqualified and WITHOUT INSURANCE (obvious really).

Sentence: 60 hours community service, 55 quid costs, no extension to the ban (no points, no nothing else).

!?!?!?!?

Is that it!?!

Words fail me.
