Hi all, I'm off to France in the morning, just been giving the car a check over and found the brake pads are very low. If anyone has a set in driving distance from Winchester and would be willing to part with them I'll replace them or buy them off you.

PM me or you can call/text me on 07833 704 583

Sorry no...but in the process myself of upgrading to EBC Redstuff pads.

Any pointers anyone on pad replacement now that I have the calliper off the hub?
I'm looking at 2 retaining pins through each calliper/pad and then the spring-plate with the arrow on it... where do I start here??

Red stuff is not an upgrade, personally I would avoid. Go with Ferrodo DS2500 or Carbon Lorraine. The brake balance is easily upset. Ferrodo was the standard fitment.

Noted - EBC Redstuff would not be an upgrade, my mistake.

Regardless I am still looking for advice on how to remove the existing pads from these AP Callipers please.

The pad removal is very straight forward on the front. You remove the spring clip retaining pin from the rear of the caliper, remove the spring clip and then remove the pads.
