Who will be there?

I'm off this evening and have plenty of spare day passes if needed.

It kicks off for us on Tuesday evening at the Hotel de Paris when the RWD ( the designers, not rear wheel drive) Auto Tour arrives on Casino Square.

We have the Red Arrows coming back again this year and although many are used to seeing them in the UK, there is nothing that stirs the patriotic blood quite like watching them plunging over Mont Agel and bringing the entire show to a standstill while they do their stuff.

Cool, have great memories of a 6 month refit there on Antartica, awesome place to stay and spend the winter.

Not me. I have a feeling that 2012 on Athena will have been my last MYS for a long while...

Just come back from Cannes. Compared to the MYS, its rubbish for anyone in the large yacht sector. Now no time for MYS.

Benjamin, I would have thought MYS was more your scene, i was at Cannes but purely looking at tenders,

It certainly is.

I hadn't been to Cannes before so I thought I go down as it coincided with meeting a new client in the market for a 40-50m MY.

Amazing show, Cannes - superyachts at one end and in the smaller harbour, down to Albert Square-style market stalls selling non-slip mats at the other!

Antarctica is a beauty, what are you on now??

If you need a decent tender, a local boat builder to us in Falmouth has made a couple for yachts and also has one running around at the MYS, look at www.cockwells.co.uk/superyacht-tenders they are lovely things.

Pop by the stand for a coffee I'm on QT17 on the central T across from Perini.

Funny l am parked next to the Cockwell's tenders right now, they look stunning and a very patriotic paint job as well.

Will pop by for a coffee on Thursday,

Cheers

I know exactly what you mean, asking someone if they are that person of the internet is never easy, I have done the very same with a PHer at London Boat Show!

We were often very busy on the stand, that corner spot is the place to be.

I was the only dark haired guy in mid (to late) 30's on the stand but didn't run Palma , people do mix us up all the time however!

I was based out on the Riviera when he was in Palma, now we are both back in Falmouth.
