According to an article I've read today they are in talks with the Polish Government to use the Daewoo FSO Plant in Warsaw and Daewoo FSO's Distribution network. It would include full production of Engines and finished Vehicles.

So just when we think we've got back a British mass producer they fluck off to Eastern Europe. Still I suppose it's just like Ted and the Ambulance chasers on a bigger scale business is business and sometimes you have to sell out Judas.

Don't worry, It'll be fine, the poles are used to building cheap rubbish, MG Rover will fit right in!

The only way being nice to them would be buying a Rover/MG.

I've had three new Rover 214 between 1997 and 1999.
No quality problems, though.

I was at a garage when this guy was buying a "grey" MGF, very happy, smiles all round, "where's the keys?
In the coat pocket that I've just put in the boot."
The boot had locked on closing and as no spares were availble, and there was no access from the inside of the car, a locksmith was called out. He eventually gained entry by removing the door lock barrel and making a key to fit that. MGF's, I never have liked them, but I did feel extremely sorry for that bloke.
