Just had Mrs C on the phone. Hurricane winds at Global Village. Our patio furniture was lifted over a 7ft wall and has gone!
Looking forward to the drive home.

Just had to put the roof up on the Z3. I have an inch of sand on the seats.

Jebel Ali is quite dusty/windy at the moment.

Should be a fun drive home biggrin

Got home and everything is a mess. Sand? God, it here's more inside the house than out. Gazebo looks like someone's taken a sledge hammer to it!
Busy day for the maid tomorrow, and the pool cleaner....and the gardener!

Try Florida during the storm season.

Don't be silly.

It was lovely and cool when I left work yesterday evening, skyline was clear and the sun had just set. Even managed a walk down to Festival City Trader Vics.

Sandstorms can come more regularly if that's the effect.

Strange weather yesterday, one of my colleagues was coaching his son's rugby team just off the Al Ain road and it was raining stair-rods, car park flooded etc etc.
I was driving on Emirates Rd past DSO at about the same time and we had just a few spots with nothing at all in Meadows...

Sorry for the late reply. Fortunately everything is fine that day and the following days. And I'm in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. Sometimes the weather here is so horrible. I was really shocked by thunderstorms though I was lucky enough to stay away from other places often hit by typhoon.
