What have you been doing Mike? That page has been removed. I was wondering about the 'Boddiger' award as well, be nice to keep remembering him, he certainly helped me.
Incidentally, easy mistake, but it was me, Richard, rather than my French cousin Ricard who has 3rd S1/2. And thanks for those who voted, given that this car was semi derelict and brought back from the 'dead' I was delighted and encouraged. Sorry that the V8 bonnet causes confusion but E630BKJ has a 2.8 S1 heart!

And the "Clarence Boddicker" trophy went to ?
...where it came from last year.I brought it to the show to hand on, but i guess due to the late re-organising of the event, there was no voting form for it.
So I had a chat with Glen and we democratically agreed that like the Ashes, I should retain it as there was no new winner...
...If there is not a groundswell of opinion on who could have it now, then I will bring it again next year...my wife isn't keen on it on the mantlepiece, but I guess we can't all see the beauty in rusty engineering...I was proud to get it though

Must admit that I'd forgotten about the Clarence Bodigger award, hence I forgot to factor it in to the awards process. Maybe I was distracted by the thought of cake!
I'd suggest that whatever happens for S-Club next year please shout and remind the organiser (whoever they may be!) about the award a few weeks before the event.
I propose that you hang on to the award on behalf of everyone that contributed to keeping SCH going this year regardless, hopefully that's in keeping with the spirit of the award.
Gary
p.s. and thanks again to the TVRCC East Mids folks that enabled us to have this years SCH event!
...Now for the write up for Sprint...unless there are any volunteers....deadly silence...., then I will go for the record of self publicity in the mag for multiple issues (Did you see the stripey beast in the IoW articles this month)...
But don't worry, I have got a concept to use on this one...
So...
- Can anyone give me the owner of that 3rd place V8s?
- Any comments you want to send me on your thoughts for the event?
- Any good photos I can use?

Thanks Mike - it was a real shock to be honest. A very nice shock. My daughter was very proud of the TeeVeeRrrrr
I have as a matter of course contacted my broker to increase my insurance cover and this certainly means a significant increase the value of the vehicle. Maybe by as much as a whole pound !!!
