Just acquired our cooper s but the rear left back box is blowing and needs replacement, a new oem fitment is quoted at £500 and a jetex or similar is a minimum of £250.

Had a thought that maybe some of you on here might have replaced the std system for something a little louder and still have the oem lying around that you'd be happy to move on?

if not, any suggestions for a cost effective replacement? maybe get the box replaced at a drive through fabricators somewhere, car is located near North London.

Also, is there a goof UK forum for the new Mini? save trawling...

Same happened to my wife's earlier this year so fitted a Miltek stainless exhaust for only about £80 more than OEM.

A very wise decision as it looks and sounds great.
